Mid-Term Essay Requirements

  1. Assignment: How does MTY© apply to your clinical specialty and license?
    1. Objectives
      1. Think biopsychosocial NOT just biomedical
      2. Showcase new identity & use as an outreach to your peers
      3. Discuss how you have applied MTY in your practice
      4. Detail how you have seen MTY working within your specialty
    2. Examples
      1. Erin McCabe, MS, ATC, LAT, PYT
      2. Wendy Roberts, PT, PYT
      3. Jenna Weitzman, PT, PYT
    3. Rubric –
      1. 750 words (blog post length; single page)
      2. Good grammar
      3. Strong introduction and conclusion
      4. 1-2 citations as applicable
      5. The essay may, in part, be posted on the website and/or social media to help others understand how MTY (and its Lifestyle Medicine biopsychosocial model) works in clinical practice and health promotion.
      6. Discussion of anecdotal proof you’ve seen that what you have learned has a positive impact in your populations as well as pieces from your training that underscore MTY is applicable in your practice setting as a licensed clinician.
    4. Submit via Google Drive and share with Ginger or other staff member as directed during onsite module with SUBJECT LINE: MID-TERM ESSAY
    5. Due Date: 30 days after M6
